CPR Class Schedules and Registration
The Rochester Hills Fire Department offers various types of CPR classes. Depending on whether you are in need of certification or not, we can put you into the appropriate class. Read on for details of the different type of classes that are offered:

American Heart Association Family and Friends
Non-
The American Heart Association Family and Friends class is offered free of charge.
These community classes offer adult, child and infant CPR. All classes will begin
promptly at 6:30 pm. Classes will consist of lecture, videos and manikin practice.
The American Heart Family and Friends class teaches one-
The American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR class is designed for the layperson that needs certification for their job or school. The class offers one person CPR/AED training for adult, child and infant CPR along with foreign body airway obstruction. Classes will consist of lecture, videos and manikin practice. Upon successful completion of the skills test, students will receive a certification card.
American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR/ AED Certification Class -
American Heart Association CPR, AED (automated external defibrillator) & First Aid
Certification Class -
The American Heart Association CPR, AED and First Aid course will provide the average lay person the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and provide basic care for injuries, sudden illnesses and to perform CPR with use of an AED until advanced medical personnel arrive and take over. The class offers one person CPR for adult, infant and child CPR along with foreign body airway obstruction. Classes will consist of lecture, videos and manikin practice. Upon successful completion of a skills test, students will receive a certification card.
